and a nap!
Today was a travel day, so there was nothing scheduled for us to do. As much as I wanted to go travel and sight see around Moscow, with only 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night, a nap was the first thing on my list to do! The second thing on my list was to catch up on paperwork that I've put off because I have been so busy! And that is so boring, no one wants to read about it! The third thing on my list was dinner! All 12 of the teachers on this program plus 3 people from IREX went out to dinner at the Old Tower Restaurant. There was nothing truly new about the food, what was exciting was the fact that we all got to talk about our different experiences in Russia and what we learned. Some people were sent almost to China and others were sent to places that were more rural. All of us found some things that were the same and things that were different. | |

6th grade asked: Anacristina wants to know if the dome of the cathedral is real gold. What is Morse?
Anacristina, I am not sure if the Cathedral's dome is real gold. What I have found is that several similar cathedrals have dome that are gilded, or covered with a thin layer of real gold. It would be safe to say that this is very likely the same for the Cathedral of the Blood.
Morse is a drink that is kind of like cranberry juice except it is made from either cherries or Lingonberries.
8th grade asked: What other vegetables were in the potato pancakes? What shape was the chocolate candy?
I don't know what other vegetables were in the potato pancakes, I just know they were tasty. The chocolate candy was round.
Come on, Eighth grade, ask me some harder questions! What do you want to know about Russia?
