Education Week is the most well-known education related newspaper in the United States.
General Teaching Topics
Current Fulbright Distinguished Teacher, and former Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow Jen Chavez - Miller writes about her experiences in Finland as an American Teacher as she pursues her Fulbright fellowship.
Teachable Moments is a comic blog written by Chris Pearce, a teacher in New York. In it, he documents his experience teaching literature in a New York City school and his interactions with his students.
Autisms & Oughtisms is a brilliantly written, well-researched, and balanced blog based in New Zealand. The author is not only the mother of a child with autism, but is a law lecturer with degrees in law (with honors) and philosophy (with honors). She has been featured on New Zealand TV and her blog has been discussed on Radio New Zealand. This blog is well respected in the autism community in New Zealand. In the interest of full disclosure, the author is a very dear friend of mine.
